Leadership Class presents $1K to W.C. Necessity Pantry

Members of the 2012 Warren County Leadership Institute presented a check in the amount of $1,000.00 to the Warren County Necessity Pantry at its Open House on Tuesday, April 17th. The class participated in bi-weekly classes to learn more about the pressing issues facing Warren County and how they can make a positive impact.

The Department of Public Health opened the Necessity Pantry in Warren County for low-income women and children who do not qualify for government programs or assistance. This pantry will carry a wide-range of items from personal hygiene products to infant carriers and booster seats. We are raising money, collecting donations and vouchers for this program to get off the ground.

Members of the 2012 Institute consist of: Kirk Baker, Janet Bunce, Tanner Bunce, Jason Cross, Justin Fletcher, Joe Grandstaff, Sarah Harl, Brent Hinders, Michael Kleene, Erin Larsen, Mike Lindeberg, Chelsea Rouse, Staci Scheurenbrand, and Jesse Stewart.
