Carousel Theatre's 60th Anniversary Celebration
Carousel Theatre of Indianola is celebrating 60 years of providing high-quality theatre in Warren County.
We hope that many of the hundreds of people who have been involved with Carousel over the years will make plans to come celebrate with us! At the Kent Campus Center at Simpson College at 701 N. C Street. Includes dinner, entertainment, and a life-time of memories.

Suds on Salem - Outdoor Happy Hour
Come toast the weekend at this annual street party in Indianola’s Downtown on West Salem Ave between Buxton & B Streets! West Hill Brewing Company will be serving outdoors. Or grab your favorite unopened beverage/bottle of wine from any downtown business (and open it inside our barricades.) Hungry? Grab take out from our downtown restaurants or hit the food truck. The Suds rules are… 1) Anything brought inside our barricades must be purchased from an Indianola Downtown business. 2) No open containers outside of the barricades.
Got kids? We'll have suds especially for them with a foam party!

Indianola Home For The Holidays & Lighted Parade
Indianola Downtown warmly invites you Home for the Holidays! You're sure to find your holiday cheer as the Square is transformed with the dazzling sights, sounds (& smells) of the season. Ask Santa if you are on his Nice List, take a horse drawn wagon ride, join in on a carol or find a treat just like your grandma used to make. This FREE family event is held annually on the 4th Saturday in October in Downtown Carlisle. The event is packed full of FUN - Costume parade, trunk or treat, kiddie train rides, candy, vendors, food, entertainment, and of course PUMPKINS! Decorated/carved pumpkin contest, pumpkin painting, crafts, games, petting animals, and more!

Wine, Witches & Brews
Join us on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 5-9 pm on The Square in Downtown Indianola (Iowa) for an evening of shopping & Halloween magic. We'll keep our boutiques open and the samples flowing while our bars & restaurants ramp up the fun. Be sure to follow this page as we release exciting details leading up to the event. Costumes are encouraged (but not required.) This is a GREAT girls night out! Must be 21 or over. Tickets, which get you a wristband to participate, are $20.
