Lake Ahquabi Trail Run Backyard Ultra Marathon
A last man standing type ultramarathon, running a 4.167 mile loop, every hour on the hour, of the scenic trails of Lake Ahquabi State Park.

Carlisle Picker’s Day & Car Show

Log Cabin Festival
Celebrate local heritage at Log Cabin Festival! This year’s theme—Generations of Fun!
Invites all ages to explore the vintage games, toys, and memories that connect us.
The annual parade kicks off at 10 AM in downtown Indianola. Then, from 11 to 4, head to
the history museum and heritage village for a day of hands-on fun. Enjoy yard games, farm
activities, interactive toy exhibits, a homemade meal ($15), and much more—there’s
