WARREN COUNTY PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERSHIP

Warren County Philanthropic Partnership

The Warren County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC) established the Warren County Philanthropic Partnership (WCPP) in 2005 as Warren County’s community foundation. WCPP was created to administer Iowa’s County Endowment Fund and to support charitable giving that benefits communities across Warren County, Iowa. Since its founding, WCPP has responsibly distributed more than $1 million in grants to local governments and nonprofit organizations for impactful projects throughout the county. The annual grant application cycle typically runs from January through early March.

Looking ahead, WCEDC continues to guide WCPP’s growth and impact by expanding grantmaking, assisting individuals and families with charitable giving, growing the endowment for long term community benefit, strengthening collaboration with city leaders and partner organizations, and improving overall quality of life in Warren County.

WCPP operates as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and is governed by a local Board of Directors under the leadership and management of the Warren County Economic Development Corporation.
